[At some nondescript time because I don't wanna look up timezones, but when he lands on the 6th he'll give Kano's phone a proper ring. There's still a bandage wrapped around his forearm but it doesn't seem to be bothering him, and he has his beg over his opposite shoulder.]

[ But yeah, okay, he answers the phone after letting it ring 10 times, whatever time of day it is on the 6th to come out to see Yuya. He comes out empty handed. He packed nothing. ]

[Yuya stares right back at Kano.]

... So are you just hiding what you packed, or are you going to spend five days without clean underwear or a toothbrush?

...Aren't I staying at your place?

I'm not giving you my underwear or my toothbrush.

Best friends, but friends still don't wear each other's underwear or share germs.

I'm limited to one carry-on, Yuya.

[ No room for underwear. Gotta share. ]

[hippocarnival]

I don't see a carry-on with you that doesn't have enough space for underwear.

[suddenlybees]

[ He doesn't see a carry-on period, because it doesn't exist. ]

What time's our flight leaving?

[hippocarnival]

In an hour, so we have to leave now.

[It's too late, he reaches for Kano's elbow to pull him along. They have to go downtown for the airport to Sendai.] You'll have to buy underwear when we reach Japan.

[suddenlybees]

[ He's going to run away the moment they land and refuse to buy underwear until it's the next morning and it's too late, whatever, he'll deal with it later. ]

Okay, okay, let's go~

[Yuya is still not agreeing to share his underwear.]

Why didn't you pack anything? I told you to do it before I got here!

[Nag nag, are you 7 or 17 Kano (he's 7).]

[suddenlybees]

I packed the important stuff!! Here, give me your phone real quick.

[hippocarnival]

[Ugh, but Yuya hands his phone over.]

Underwear is important. Don't you have that really deep pocket anyway?

[He remembers, from the milkshakes.]

[suddenlybees]

Yeah.

[ Kano drops the phone into his really deep pocket where it'll disappear forever. ]

[hippocarnival]

--Hey! [Yuya tugs on his jacket immediately.] You can't steal my phone!

[suddenlybees]

I'm not stealing your phone~ I'm holding onto it!

[ He grins, shoving his hands in his pockets so Yuya can't get at anything ]

So you're not allowed to play on your phone at all during the plane right, okay? You gotta play with me!!

[hippocarnival]

I wasn't going to anyway... you need to give it back to me before we land, because I have to let my mom know when we get there and where to pick us up.

[And, possibly, to buy Kano underwear. But he won't fight for it for now, and just keep pulling Kano to the bus, load onto the bus, and drive to the airport so they can get through security and board. It's going to be a long flight.

Luckily they'll have seats next to each other, Yuya wanted to make sure they wouldn't have trouble keeping track of each other.]

I'll give it back before we land, but until then, it's mine~

[ It's going to be a very very long trip, because Kano hates buses, he hates planes, and he's going to spent more than half the time hiding in the bathroom until somebody threatens to unscrew the door so another passenger can pee. ]

[Yuya's not fond of them either. But they settle in, the flight staff goes through the safety procedures while Yuya flips through one of the magazines with a list of some of the build in entertainment. He's not going to sleep on the plane, so he needs to know ahead of time what he's going to do when Kano sleeps.]

You said you've never been to Japan, right?

[suddenlybees]

[ Kano's already illusioning his seatbelt so he doesn't actually have to wear it. ]

Yep, never been! I've seen pictures of the mountain on food wrappers, though? Fiji?

[ Fuji... but you get the idea ]

[I'd say this is how he dies, but if we're completely honest it's not going to save them in a crash anyway.]

Mount Fuji. We're going to be up north, though... [He points up.] But Sendai's really nice! It's on the coast so we have a beach, and the forests the other way and there's a lot to do downtown.
