Tsubomi shrugs and starts pulling the magazines out of the back pocket in front of her seat so she can roll them up and stick into her pocket. These are supposedly free. Or they get rid of them every month because there's new issues. It doesn't matter; hers now. ]

[He glances over and gives a tired sigh, but stealing airplane magazines is pretty tame, as far as Kano shenanigans go. He lets it slide. About a minute later, though -- ]

Wanna listen to something? Other than this dickhead's snoring. I've got earbuds we can split.

[ Not sure if he'd like Maverick's taste in music. But Kano's more or less tone deaf, so it shouldn't matter anyways. ]

[Perfect. Mav rustles in his pocket until he finds his headphones, handing one pod over for Kano to use, then hits shuffle on an old playlist.

Fate smiles down on him, playing Simple Plan's 'Welcome To My Life' and causing him to lose his shit laughing. 'I'm Just a Kid', 'I'm Not Okay', 'Leave Out All The Rest', 'Ocean Avenue', 'Rooftops', 'Calling All Cars'... His angsty preteen shit is a fucking goldmine when he's got Kano and his bad life choices in mind, truly a gift that keeps on giving.]

[ Holy shit, this is objectively terrible. Kano gets through about half of Ocean Avenue before he just sort of... pretends he's still listening to this but under his illusion he pulls the earbud out and sticks it into the sleeping man's ear instead. ]
