[ He gives up and sits on top of the desk instead, feet kicking. ]

He reaches to tug Kano's sleeve twice between his fingers.] Get real permission first and I'll get you more stars to finish it if you need them. Even if it's a teacher, this is something personal to them.

[Yes, respecting the teacher's right to privacy for their sigil is the most pressing issue here. And a little bit that Kano's still on summoning daemons, but if he's gonna summon any it's really better to be a staff member.]

[ Blowing things up is a very real thing that could happen in Kano's room, okay. These dorms are reinforced for a reason. ]

[ He just doesn't want to undo all his "hard work." Even a half sigil, he can use, somehow. He just likes the idea of having it right there. ]

Yeah, you don't have to take it down. [It's half a sigil, which Yuya thinks is unusable to anyone who won't know it.

He leans off the desk so he can actually help Kano move it this time.] Let's make some other shapes for now. Like starts out of stars, or we could make them swirly...

[ Thank god Yuya's going to help out with moving, or they won't ever get anywhere with Kano just trying to make an effort. ]

Hm, hm~ How 'bout something like this?

[ Once the desk is moved, Kano hops back onto it to start sticking stars up in the empty space. Something like an oval, but pointed at either end. A single star in the center of it. It's an eyeball, like the ones covering Toki's ceiling. Kano is maybe still salty about him. ]

[Toki has drawn that eyeball all over his side of things, although the shape is pretty generic.]

An eye to always watch over you, huh... [It's not that sweet, he knows. But, hm.

Yuya look around before grabbing a bag of stars and going to the blank wall next to the closet door.] Hey, how do you spell 'Ellie'?

[He's already starting to put up the E.]

Yep, that's right. [ It's the addendum he'd made to Toki's ceiling too, the assertion that the eyes are always watching, but they're watching over you. Apparently that just made things worse, but Kano doesn't know. ]

E-L-L-I-E. But is it weird to have her name on my closet? Like a gross clingy big bro... I dunno when her treatment's over and she can come back, either.

[Yuya looks over his shoulder.] I wasn't going to put just her name... I was thinking all of us, all of your friends? Me too, and Nana, all of them.

[Like a wall of friendship or something.]

[ No way, no way, first of all, that's hella embarrassing. Kano can live with eyes and demon sigils plastered all over his room, but something so blatant as the names of all his friends there on the closet that protects his greatest secrets? No way, nope. ]

There'd be only like, four names???

[He was aiming for the wall next to it there's more room.p]

[ lmfao I can't read, sorry, but it's the same concept, the wall next to the closet is still uncomfortably close to the closet. or something. ]

The four names are Ellie, you, Nana-chan, and Mav! I think he'd cry if I left him out?

Eh, we don't want to make him cry... [He points to the 'E'.] What do you think? It could be like one of those memories walls, with pictures and everything.

[ That is extremely high school girl, cringy and embarrassing and Kano laughs. ]

[ He is never going to stay in this room again. ]

Here, here, I've got this picture to put up—- [ He hops over to his desk drawer, cloaked in an illusion so Yuya doesn't see him pushing up on the hidden bottom, and takes out that picture of him, Ellie, and another girl who isn't Minako anymore, but the original "Tsubomi" he'd been with back at the orphanage. ]

[ They are embarrassing pictures of Yuya, lewd ones of Maverick, and cute ones with him and Nana. ]

Yuya hops over to look at the picture.] You have some of me? I don't remember taking any together...

[Maybe he forgot. He points at Tsubomi.] Who's that?

[ aflkjh they're all terrible at saying no, but at least Yuya's ideas aren't life-threatening. ]

Hm~ That one there, is Leader! [ An androgynous girl, who looks nothing like Kano as a girl but rather she's the one with green hair in my plurk icon. Kinda gruff looking; between the three of them, Ellie is the only one in the picture who's smiling. ]

The original Dan Number One~ I think we wrestled to figure out the order, before? Haha, I lost spectacularly!!

[ Placing him at Three. But who knows if this is how it happened, either. ]

Oh, that's her! [He leans forward to look at his more closely.] Does that mean I'll get to meet her sometime? You still talk to her?

Hm~ Something like that! But you don't get to meet her! I'm going to keep her all to myself, so don't even think about it~

[ This is where his being a creepy big brother rears its head; she is also one of the few people left of his family, and the fact that she's not at Daybreak means she never got caught up in all of this. Kano wants to keep it that way, and he doesn't want to share. ]

Does she even know you're inviting new members... [Kano, pls.

He nudges him with his arm.] Does she have anything to do with supernatural stuff like you and Ellie, or is she just normal?

Hm... Not telling!!

[ To either of those things. She won't ever be relevant, he wants to believe. Even if later along in the month, he borrows Tsubomi's exact form to go check up on Toki, Toki won't ever come into his room and put two and two together, because they're no longer friends, so this definitely won't come back to bite him in the ass. ]

If you have any pictures, send 'em to me too! I'll put a batch order in! You got lots of you and Nana-chan, right? You took a lot over the breaks?

[Suspicious... but Yuya's not going to go look up the contact info for some girl in Massachusetts, especially since the way Kano talks around it gives Yuya the feeling he's not really in active contact with her, anyway. That he knows how to, but doesn't.]

I do. [He pulls out his phone to flip open the gallery and scrolls back. There's selfies of the two of them on Tokyo Tower, Grand Central Station where he surprised her scattered among pictures of the actual places they visited and Nana by herself posing for the camera.

There's more pictures of Nana than there are Yuya, honestly.] Which ones do you want?

All of them. All the ones with either you or Nana or both.

[ Just forward the entire album to him? He likes having pictures of people; they're great for reference, and he's never seen Japan either, anywas. ]

Does your phone have enough storage for that? [Well... they'll find out.

He starts selecting some of the pictures in Kano's view. There aren't any selfies of just Yuya, but definitely a handful of him and Nana together and then all the ones with Nana from Japan and New York. And a couple pictures he snapped of her during her student council speech.

He sends them via Iris Network through DM.] There, they're sent!

[And then he flips his phone to the selfie camera and leans over against Kano so he can get both of them in the frame.] Smile!

[ Does his phone have enough storage for that? Probably not. But he makes room by deleting his messages-- not that it saves any appreciable amount of room, but it clears away evidence. Everything gets sorted into different albums depending on what he needs the picture for, but that's something he can do later in his own time. ]
