At 3AM, four days after the rooftop incident and he wasn't actually going to stop by, but then Toki went ahead and smashed a glass aquarium tank lid over his arm and he woke up in a trash can and now Kano's dragging himself over and knocking on the door with his good hand.

At the very least, he's lucky Hieke doesn't need much in the way of sleep and set runes in the door of the infirmary so he knows when anyone is there if he's not around. That does mean it takes him a few minutes to get there, and he comes from outside the infirmary, but, well.

Hello, hello~ That's me~! How'd you know? I didn't think I was so famous!
[ He spins around on his heels the moment he hears the footsteps coming from behind him, grinning over at Hieke like it's a reasonable time of day to visit. ]

[Is that a joke? It's hard to tell.
He steps around him to open the door, gesturing for Kano to enter.]

Hahaha~ Makes sense, makes sense~ Then, sorry for the intrusion...
[ Hieke makes a good case, so Kano slips on inside, meandering on over to the wall with all the creepy stuff floating in it- everything looks a lot creepier in the dark, and he still can't tell what's alive and what's not. ]

It's not a problem at all. I'm glad you're here.
[He reaches over to flip on the lights, before making his way over to his desk. It takes him a moment, but he eventually pulls out the report Ekkehardt filed about Kano's arm.]
Now, you haven't been experiencing any pain or numbness, have you?

Mmm... Not much numbness, but pain. That's sort of new.
[ Like, today new. Glass stuck in his arm sort of new. ]

And the mention of pain is about when Hieke's brain kicks in, and he notices the fact that Kano is, in fact, injured. Right now.]
Seriously?
[He can't help but sound incredulous, as he crosses over to Kano and motions for him to hold out his arm.]

[ Kano complies easily enough, letting parts of his illusion fall off so that he can show off his bare arm- it's the underside, mostly, that's cut up, having been held in front of his face to fend off a trigger-happy Toki wielding a glass panel. Deep cuts, some glass that's large enough to just pull out but he'd decided against it because that's what keeping the blood inside, that sort of thing. ]
It was either this, or dying! So I chose this!! You'll help me out, won't you?

This shouldn't hurt, but it might feel a little strange.
[Using magic to pull out the glass is more sanitary than using his hands, after all, and comes with the benefit of pain-relief at the same time.]

[ It's a wonder why he'd been allowed to live on the third floor for so many years, but he'd never dragged himself to the infirmary with much more than a broken arm or two, so this is tame, comparatively. ]
This is one of those situations that probably won't happen again, so you won't ask for details, will you?

[The cuts clear of glass, Hieke turns to actually healing them. It's simple enough to have the flesh knit itself back together.]
I get the feeling you wouldn't tell me any details even if I asked, so you can keep your secrets - as long as you make sure this doesn't happen again.

[The infirmary is incredibly well-stocked and organized so it doesn't take very long to find a jar to put all the glass in and hand to Kano.]

[ Put it back where it came from so that he has it, but he also doesn't have to look at it anymore. ]

That's certainly a question. Hieke looks a little confused, and he looks between the glass and Kano before shrugging a little helplessly.]
I've never...tried to do that before? It might be possible, but I don't know if that would have any benefit...
[It's Just Blood. You've got plenty of blood being produced in your body, Kano. You really don't need extra.]

Kano sticks his arm out again, very seriously. ]
